These Terms of Service govern your use of House DNA, a web application operated by ND Studio ('we', 'us', 'our'). By creating an account, you agree to these terms.

1. Description of Service

House DNA is a digital record-keeping tool for homeowners and property buyers. It allows you to track construction stages, store documents, log contractors, manage rooms, and generate property reports. The service is available at housedna.in.

2. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• One account per person. You may not share accounts.

3. Subscription Plans

Free Plan

• 1 property, up to 20 documents.
• Full access to all core features: Build Mode, Home Mode, Document Vault, Contractor Log, Reminders.
• No time limit — the free plan does not expire.

Pro Plan — ₹999/year

• 3 properties, up to 500 documents.
• Property sharing with family members or advisors.
• Resale-ready PDF export.
• Priority support.

Business Plan — ₹1,999/year

• 5 properties, up to 2,000 documents.
• Everything in Pro.
• Team & caretaker access.
• Priority support.

Payment and Renewal

• Payment is one-time per subscription period. There is no automatic renewal.
• Your paid plan (Pro or Business) is valid for 12 months from the date of payment.
• You will receive reminder emails at 30 days and 7 days before expiry.
• On expiry, your account reverts to the Free plan. Your data is retained — you are not locked out of existing records.
• To continue paid features, you must make a new payment.

4. Refund Policy

We offer a 7-day refund window from the date of purchase if you are unsatisfied with the service. Contact us at info@ndstudio.in with your payment reference. Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days. The full policy is available at housedna.in/refunds.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use House DNA for any unlawful purpose.
• Upload content that infringes on third-party intellectual property rights.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service or its infrastructure.
• Use automated bots or scrapers against the service.
• Upload malicious files or content.

6. Your Content

You retain full ownership of all content you upload to House DNA — property records, documents, photos, and notes. By uploading content, you grant us a limited licence to store and serve it solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

We do not claim ownership of your data and do not use it for any purpose beyond operating the service.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

House DNA is a record-keeping tool. It does not provide legal, structural, engineering, financial, or valuation advice. Information stored in the app should not be relied upon as professional advice.

The service is provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, particularly on the free tier.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ND Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Service, without prior notice. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page or by contacting us.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
