What if my home is already built?+

Start in Home Mode. Skip Build Mode entirely and go straight to creating a permanent digital record — rooms, documents, systems, warranties, and contractors.

Who can see my documents and data?+

Only you, unless you explicitly invite someone. Invited users only see what you choose to share. Documents are stored with signed access links that expire — no public URLs.

What happens when construction is complete?+

House DNA automatically switches your property from Build Mode to Home Mode when all 9 stages are marked complete. All your notes, documents, and contractor logs carry over.

Can I invite my contractor or architect?+

Yes. From Property Settings, invite anyone by email. You control whether they can view-only or also make edits. Revoke access at any time.

What is the Resale PDF?+

A one-click export of your complete property record — build history, all documents, rooms and materials, systems, warranties, and contractor log — as a clean, shareable PDF.
